AXISe Internet Member Self Service

This service is available for active and deferred members of Staffordshire County Council's Local Government Pension Scheme and allows you to access information online relating to your membership. You will be able to check membership details and perform a number of benefit calculations. Brief details of the available screens are shown below however you should also make use of the help screens available via the menu on each screen.

New Users

If you have not been sent a password you can request one by clicking the "NEW PASSWORD REQUEST" link at the bottom of the page and selecting "Password Request".

Your password will be mailed to your home address by second class post. You should therefore allow up to 10 working days for receipt, subject to workload. Please note that password requests will not normally be processed until the following working day.

On receipt of your password you should first read the warnings below. You can then click on the "USE CALCULATOR" link at the bottom of the page and select "Enter". You will need to enter your Surname, NI Number and your password exactly as quoted in the letter as it is case-sensitive.

When you first access the service you will be required to change your password and select two lifestyle questions from the list provided. Any subsequent visits to the site will require you to answer one of your chosen questions. Should you forget your password or lifestyle question you should refer to the section entitled "Forgotten/Mistyped Password" below.

Forgotten/Mistyped Password

If you have entered the wrong password 3 times you will be locked out of the system. If you have forgotten the password or simply entered the password incorrectly (e.g. in the wrong case) send an e-mail to pensionsonline@staffordshire.gov.uk and it will be unlocked for you and/or a password reminder will be sent.

Important Note Regarding Calculations

The calculations are based on regulations as they are known to us at this time and are subject to change. Also, the pay used initially is the latest known to us but could be almost 12 months out of date, although you can input a more current figure if you wish.

Therefore, it must be appreciated that any figures quoted are only intended as a guide and no decision to retire should be made solely upon these figures.

Should you be contemplating retirement in the near future you should always request a written estimate from Pension Services. 

Known Errors Within the System

The following problems may arise while you use AXISe online. They are known about and will be rectified as soon as possible. Please do not notify us if you encounter anything listed below.

Deferred Benefit Calculation

If the deferred benefit calculation is performed first an error message appears when the calculate button is selected. You should choose another type of estimate first and then when you choose the deferred benefit calculation it should work ok.

Nomination Form

Currently the Nomination Form is not available within the calculator but the form can be located within the main website here.
