System Upgrade February 2010

This new version includes the following enhancements:

When applying for a password, a message will now appear informing you if your attempt was successful. NB your password will then be posted to your home address within 10 working days.

Fixed following error:

Inability to enter certain dates for benefits
It should be noted that if you choose a date later than that shown by default, the system currently will not allow you to try an earlier date without starting the benefit calculation again from the menu.

In most cases details are now shown if you have service breaks. This might not happen if your employer or hours have never changed.

If your benefits have been reduced for taking benefits early, details are shown.

If you use the Voluntary Retirement calculator, it is now possible to calculate the conversion of pension to provide a bigger lump sum. Access the link in the middle of the screen for more details.

There is a new menu item - a contacts page offering a number of questions, which can be sent to us electronically. We will endeavour to answer the question as soon as possible but it will not be seen until the following working day at the earliest. Also there may be a delay if we receive a large number of enquiries.
