Pensions Pay Dates

DatesIf you receive a Local Government Pension Scheme pension from the Staffordshire Pension Fund you will receive that pension through a direct payment into your bank or building society account . Regular payments are made into your bank account or building society account on the last working day of the month unless it falls at the weekend (payment will then be made on the preceding Friday). The payment for December is usually brought forward to before Christmas.

 

**Special Notice**

Pensions payslips April 2011

Due to technical production difficulties, your pension payslip for April 2011 may not be with you in time for this month's payment date, Thursday 28 April.

Your pension will however be credited to you bank account as usual on the 28th. If you do have any queries regarding your pension payment you can contact our Shared Service Centre helpdesk on:

The payment dates for 2011/12 are:

Normally you will receive a payslip in April and/or May each year.  You may also receive a payslip in any other month, but only where where your net pay varies by £1 or more from the previous month eg where Pensions Increase is applied to your pension and/or a new tax code being issued on your behalf by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.  You will also receive a P60 each year setting out your pay and tax details for the whole year.
